1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Forced Rep (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, do not install or use the App.
2. Health & Fitness Disclaimer
Forced Rep is not a medical device, medical service, or licensed fitness professional. The App provides self-tracking tools, workout logging, exercise demonstrations, and mathematical reference models (such as Brzycki and Epley estimated 1RM calculations, warmup ramp calculators, and hypertrophy volume landmarks).
Strength training and exercise carry inherent risks of serious physical injury. You are solely responsible for your own safety, technique, form, and physical limits. Before beginning any new exercise routine, weightlifting program, or physical conditioning regimen, consult a physician or qualified healthcare provider. Stop training immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, nausea, or discomfort. Estimated rep maxes, suggested progression loads, and warmup ramps are algorithmic references derived from your historical logs; they are not medical prescriptions, individualized coaching advice, or guarantees of capacity.
3. Description of Service & Local Storage
Forced Rep is designed with a local-first philosophy. Your workout routines, logged sets, exercise modifications, and personal training notes are stored locally on your device. Perseverance Software does not maintain user accounts or a workout-sync server. Exercise issue reports you choose to submit are sent to our report service and third-party delivery services as described in the Privacy Policy. You are solely responsible for securing your personal device and maintaining routine backups using the App's JSON export features or Cloud Safety Mirror.
4. Forced Rep Pro Subscriptions & Purchases
Forced Rep provides comprehensive core workout tracking capabilities free of charge. Optional advanced analytics, automated autoregulation, hypertrophy volume matrices, and neurological ramp calculators ("Forced Rep Pro") are available through in-app purchases:
- Billing & Payment: Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store (In-App Purchase) or Google Play Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account upon confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annually) unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours prior to the conclusion of the active period.
- Cancellation: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's account settings (Apple ID Subscriptions on iOS or Google Play Subscriptions on Android). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current prepaid billing period; partial billing periods are non-refundable.
- Free Trials: If a free trial is offered, you will be billed after the trial period ends unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial concludes. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited upon purchasing a subscription.
- Restore Purchases: You may restore previously purchased subscriptions or lifetime access on your authorized devices via the "Restore Purchases" option in the App.
- Refunds: Refund requests are governed by and must be submitted directly to Apple or Google in accordance with their respective app store refund policies.
5. Cloud Safety Mirror & Backup Responsibility
Cloud Safety Mirror stores a readable JSON backup in app-specific storage when active. On Android, it also writes copies to a folder you select, if configured; on iOS, it writes a copy to its iCloud Drive container when available. The App does not add a separate encryption layer or passphrase to these files. Your device and storage provider may apply their own protections. Perseverance Software does not receive or host Cloud Safety Mirror files. You are responsible for controlling access to your backup locations and deleting copies you no longer need.
6. Third-Party Content & Services
The App enables you to view exercise technique demonstrations hosted on YouTube and store backups using third-party cloud providers. Your interactions with these external services are governed by their respective terms of service, including the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. Perseverance Software does not endorse, control, or assume liability for third-party platforms.
7. Intellectual Property & Limited License
Forced Rep, including its design system, visual layouts, typography, artwork, software code, algorithms, and branding, is the proprietary intellectual property of Perseverance Software. We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited personal license to install and run the App on devices you own or control. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, redistribute, modify, or create derivative works from the App without prior written consent.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Forced Rep is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without express or implied warranties of any kind, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or accuracy of calculations.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Perseverance Software, its developers, and contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, or for any personal injury, physical harm, loss of data, device malfunction, or equipment damage arising from or relating to your use of or inability to use Forced Rep.
10. Changes to Terms
Perseverance Software reserves the right to revise these Terms at any time. When modifications are made, the updated Terms will be published on this website with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App following posted updates constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
